hey guys, iv taken out the old center-point engine, and put in a newer multipoint with a 4 speed auto, but now im having probs with the wiring.. do i need to modify a plug or something..
i cant seem to find where the round plug for the auto to plug into.. the flat 1 is there but no other one coming from main loom??

the new engine is out of a eb,and was complete, have the eb ecu, and fuel pump..

please help :evil:

was the centre point engine a 3 speed auto?

how do you expect a electronic 4 speed to plug into a car with no wiring for it? The 3 speed is an old mechanical design. No electronics

i can put the 3 speed back in it would it work?, or i can take out moter and put it in the 91 falcon s i got, it has a 4 speed in it and the wiering... :?

there's a doco somewhere where a motor was changed from centrepoint to multipoint. that way less hassles OR change full wiring loom/ECU

or you could leave the 'new' motor in but run as a centrepoint?

ok here is a link ta that doco i mentioned .... will be able ta change to MPFI but you will need ta change ya ECU to a MPFI unit ... or like i said chuck motor in & leave it CPFI ... etc etc etc
