Ok this may sound like a stupid question but how do I do it?? I went to replace them the other day and to my amusement i found that my dizzy is underneath the Intake Manifold, so i just wanted to know does the car have to be put on a hoist or ramps so you can do it from underneath? Or do i have to start pulling my engine appart?
It just seems strange that it is in such an aquard place, bad engineering? Thanks Mark. |

I find under the car is easy (dont need a hoist, just ramps or jack it up). Some people like to remove the airbox and reach under the manifold (think you need girlish arms for this to work though).

Not girlish arms, just not ogre arms like your self. I havnt done mine yet cause im lazy, but if i pull all the leads off then how to i know what point on this dizzy is for the spark plug?

yeh, its coilpack.
just take the airbox out if ya cbf gettin on the floor. do them one at a time starting from number 6 so ya dont get mixed up. its a stretch, but it can be done, and i got stubby arms. the aircon pipe gets in the way a little, but it has a little play in it.
