How do you change the P/S pully from V belt to Serp as my V belt one off my ED was new yet my S/H EF pump has started to leak and make horrible groaning noises even with plenty of oil....

You need a special tool to do it.....I have one, also use it for doing water pumps too.

you can buy one off ebay for 110 bucks...
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ABW-ALTERNATOR-P ... 483aeeb8c3 It is a good tool to have when you consider the cost of removing and putting a new pulley on. I got quoted from Ford to just remove my power steering pulley at the handsome price of $80. They had to charge minimum hour rate or something and on top of that, they will charge me another $80 to put another one on...part not supplied.

Sorry to hijack,
But is this the only way to remove pulleys? s**t.... I've killed my pulley/bearing on the power steering pump because I had the belt too tight for a few months (didn't realise) and only now have backed it off because it was starting to whine. Now it rattles on idle and on full lock squeals as well. BTW am I right in thinking only the pulley/bearing/or whatever would be busted? I've found a new pump+pulley on eBay for $160. Or the tool for $110 posted and then new pulley/bearing ($?) Sorry again to hijack!

Vanes might be damaged internally causing the whine, but that is just a wild guess.
