hi all, i have been currently doin some research on the 250ci 2v and 300ci 2v, straight 6.i am building my 1970 XY Fairmont Wagon, and most people that i have seen get rid of the inline 6 and put in a windsor or clevo v8. Me on the other hand, im different. I want to run a 250ci or a 300ci 6 in my falcon as it came out of the factory with a 6.
Now here are my questions; 1 Will a 250 2v head bolt onto my 1v Block? 2 Are the 1v Std Carby 6's 250ci?(my rocker cover is orange if that helps) 3 Are the block different from 250ci to 300ci? 4 Can i put a 300ci head on a 250ci block? 5 Which 6 Block is the strongest?(due to possibility of Turbo Charging) 6 Will a 300ci block straight into my Xy? 7 Do the re-produce 250 2v heads, i know they re-pro 300 heads This is all for now, but definatly more to come.... Help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

300ci engine is effectivly a big block 6cyl. Nothing interchanges between our 250 and that engine. |
