after extractors and exhaust, you're looking at a new camshaft.

Red stickers makes car go fast

Generally everything costs, the more faster you wanna go the more money you have to spend, nothing is cheap

Spend $400.00 and increase the air intake and a cam.

Best you improve handling and braking first so you dont die.

How cheap you can go depends on how mechanically minded you are and how long you are willing to wait.

If you wait for second hand gear to come up and fit it yourself you can save a fortune.

for example extractors and catback exhaust can go second hand between $200 and $300 vs $900+ for new system fitted from an exhaust place.

wade regrind cams can be had for under $100 s/h, or just over to have wade grind your cam, then you can get extra lifter shims from a wrecker, if you can fit it you should have change from $200

K/N panel filters are around $130 new, but half that second hand.

So for all that you could get it for around 500-600, but to get it all fitted new could easily be in the order of $2000.

if your car is stuffed then your extractors and exhausts arnt doing s**t all .

i sugest a magic cat or a metalcat the xr6turbo forum is haveing a group buy and you will get one for cheaper.

get a 3 inch then funnel the edges toa 2.5 inch this will give you the best resuilts and it flows 3 times more then the standard.

go to the xr6turbo site and see or try get one of ebay.

it should be around $260 to $ 280.

so thats pritty cheap and the gains u will get will be worth it.
