hey guys jsut wondering if anyone knows if this will be road legal on my xf in WA, im gettin my P's in about 3 months and am gonna be cop bait so dont want something that is blatently a yellow sticker cheers

no you will have no worries at all as long as it doesnt leek oil there not a thing thay can do about it

Yes it will be fine. There are no laws regarding the colours used in the engine bay :lol:

No thats perfectly legal, you can paint the darn things any couler you want, But well you are here i can tell you one thing, im not too sure about WA rules but where you have that tacho mounted and all those gauges is highly illeagal, Not ment to be anywhere on the dash where it can interupt the drivers view

Mate don't buy it, if you do fit it then watch your hands when working on the engine when it's warm, chrome gets extremely f**k HOT.
It was a common thing to use in the 80's and early 90's, but it went out of fashion.
Nothing better than a nice clean painted engine... Or get yourself an EFI alloy cover, s**t better than chrome.

haha yer ok cheers guys i might give it a miss, my engine bay looks s**t ill leave it as is lol maybe later after i do the respray. and yer southy im pretty sure they r illegal too but im kinda out of ideas on where to put them lol and having already drilled the wholes in my dash im not to keen on moving them, any suggestions ?
