I hear alot of people saying clean the throttle body or the ISC or something along those lines, but i dont really understand the process of what to clean...

Can someone just explain what happens when someone cleans the TB, what comes of and what exactly gets cleaned.

Ive never cleaned the TB because ive never knew how to do it.. Thanks.

well you can do it one of two ways:

you can clean it on the car:1: remove tubeing from the throttle body and where the opening is spray some carby/throttle body cleaner and soak it.
if you want get an old tooth brush and give it a srub..

2: take throttle body off and give it a real good soaking,i prefer this way as you can give it a better clean..and with both methods you can remove the ICS and clean it at the same time.

will help the air flow better..

hope this helps
