My problem is I've hardly got any down low power off a stop...Most falcons I have driven have no problem burning rubber off a stop.. even all the ED.. EF.. EL EA's and also the other BA's I have driven.. My car hardly pulls a wheel spin even when cornering... Is there something wrong with it? Its only done 155,000 km. If there is not a problem, is there anything I can do to get more power off the stop? Thanks for Your help have you any upgrades? Air intakes help for that quick punch to spin it out while cornering. And if its an auto are you using the gears? |

with this said about chips:
"Ive seen an intake mod chip on ebay that claims that it will give me 20hp, do they really work? NO! These are a scam. For your money you will get a 10c resistor that will trick you ECU into thinking its hotter/colder than it is. The best you can hope for is to not lose power" Does this include the CMS J3 Eliminator Chip?

hey guys I am wondering what kind of power you can expect from a BF MK2 XR6 N/A with ZF 6 speed with mods such as:
KPM UPGRADE STAGE 2 headers 2.5 inch cat back exhaust K&N high flow air filter Typhoon cold air intake SCT Ford flasher box custom tune under drive pulley system? KPM CAM PACKAGE Camshafts Valve Springs ATOMIC PERFORMANCE Stage 4 cylinder heads "Viper" intake manifold kit Upgraded oil pump And if there are any other engine upgrades possible keeping in mind that I would want to keep it as a daily driver and how much power this combination will make. |

please does anyone have an answer to my question. the reason I put the transmission is because of drivetrain loss and such. each model varies I just want a reasonably accurate figure.
Im hoping for around 200 RWKW |

I think 180-200rwkw is pretty close for what you have listed.. maybe bit more but it all depends on the tune and how well your engine responds to the modifications...

Double check with Atomic as I recall a bloke on here who got an Atomic cam for his car and he actually lost power due to atomic stuff being supposedly for boosted cars. |

Is it just me or do all the links on page 1 now go to 'file not found'. I'm not using adblock, or no script.
I tried a couple that were on my topic, that went to 'file not found' then realised they were all the same. |

Just would like to read those as my xr6 is ticking quite badly, and I don't have enough knowledge to tell if it's now morphed into a rod knock
