I have a question, when im reversing down my driveway and turn to get on to the road i can hear sometithing (im guessing something to do with steering) make like a small clunking noise? is this anything to be worried about? also steering isnt at full lock when i do it, only seems to be when im coming down the kerb..
anyone know what the go is here? cheers Alex

probably just find its a bush, sounds like the angle its going on may be loading it up. it could be worn or damaged and your hearing the bush moving. Worth while looking at your upper control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends and rack ends though, not too much else there to make a clunking noise. If it was really worn it would do it all the time.

I'm not sure if it's wear and tear, but I think things like that should have been rectified before the sale of the car from a car dealer. I think worn bushes are considered unroadworthy, so I would question as to why they are selling a car with botched suspension. Have a speak to them and see what they say. Don't quote me on the above...I'm taking a guess here.

Ah Crap, sorry dude I thought we were talking e-series on my previous comments. My fault.
Car your age should not be banging suspsension or other front end moving parts. are you able to replicate it having the car jacked up and moving the wheel around? either up down, in out or side to side? expect a tiny bit of play, but if something moves more than it feels comfortable, time for ford to fix it under warranty, unless its an excluded item.
