Hey guys, My EB hasnt been too kind of late and my clutch has started slipping in 3rd 4th and 5th (sitting on 80 in 4th doing 2000RPM, you accelerate up to 4000RPM and you're going no faster than before).

I think it has a heavy duty clutch in it but I am unsure as it was a conversion out of an EL with 180 on the clock so it may have been it's original clutch anyway so it was nearly due.

I have been quoted around $900 for a heavy duty clutch, flywheel machining etc (am quite the noob when it comes to clutches). From Auto Brake Services in salisbury. I don't have that kind of money but they do a finance plan (25% up front, $30 a week until it's paid off, interest free for 6 months).

Is this a fair price? Are there any clutch places people can recommend in Adelaide (Northern Suburbs preferrably?)

Cheers guys...

if you have tools and your good with a spanner Id just get a clutch and a workshop manual and do it yourself

You can get good HD clutches from online ebay stores for $300ish
$350 for reallly good ones haha but not needed
