No way i reckon. |

How much does the Average EL Falcon weigh? Gotta be under 125kw per tonne of power to be legal. well if you do an engine replace, thats fine. but i really doubt too many people will bother to actually measure the size or power. least till your destroying tyres from a 100kph rolling start. not that we condone hooning or p platers having more pwr than they should hanging out still to hear what it puts out...!

Thats true, i don't condone hooning but some people can be REAL edgy when they see a red "P" hanging on the window which calls for a full inspection on your car. I'm waiting excitedly too. |

Yea, but cant see it, not there I.E looks like 4.0L from outside block means 4.8L can be stuffed inside without anyone knowing

Pardon my stupidity ,but does this package just contain new pistons, rods, crank etc and retain stock block? or is the existing block bored out? As a P plater I'm very intrigued! Combined with new cams/valves, port/polish, it would be absoltely evil!
AUXR82- what's the note like on it? When do you estimate this being available and will the price exceed $2000? |

When the motor is opened up that much, wouldn't you need revised maps and stuff in the ECU and fuel system changes maybe ?

Would it be wise for me to get some head work done now or just wait til this comes?
Would getting some head work done now just be a waste of $$?
