Any idea on the price for the 4.8L mod? ( i know its been asked )
Few thou im thinking , how does something like this go with insurance, is there anyway that they are really able to rip the engine apart and tell if it has been modified? Cheers

I don't imagine you would be able to tell from the outside, however if they did decide to pull the head I think they may notice huge pistons. One would doubt that an insurance company would do that...

there cant be a costing until the package is reliable and sellable, as joe cant 100% say what work would be involved. until its 100% working its up in the air.

seems joe knows these motors better then any1 well done to u mate what have u got in the line for an ed 5litre? cheers Drifty well, avalible soon will be our super charger kits for the E series 5.0 ltrs !!! there the Paxton Novi 1000...... 650hp.... 1000cfm (AU 5.0ltr will be later on)..... I'm going to try & do it for $7600.00 drive in drive out tuned with no intercooler, intercooled & pipe work is extra..... just waiting for the front plates to cone back from the from the engineering shop, the first one will be started hopefully next week..... More E & AU series goodness cooming soon........ |

just noticed it says 650 there if im scorin 650 hp for that much im in keep up the good work i gotta get back to changing stupid split coolant hose running of the throttle body to down under absolute b**ch of a spot lol Drifty

The 650 is merely the flow limit of the blower head. You'd get somewhat less than that, due to inefficiencies tuning, other limitations (stock windsor block/rods/heads)
