could you immagine the torque of the phoon even if you just put in the stroker kit and left it 100% stock otherwise that.

No reason why not mate - it's the same still going to be the same block, so the same mods will need to be done to fit AU block to earlier model. But the question is weather it'll be worth it as if so many changes have been done to the bottom end, it may stop the AU block from having any of the advantages it usually has over the earlier I6's. |

in all the cases the blocks arn't the problems so E series the A or the B series are all fine, as I have a good supply of E series it was a cheaper option for me when it came to exprimenting.

Joe So it would be a simple bore and port job + a few other loose ends on a B series or Phoon? and you say you needed a cheap supply of blocks? i assume that you've seen pleantly of pistons on the dyno room floor and such?

provided there is enough metal in the right places and enough clearence where it's needed, the same process should work on a Barra engine too.
