My new stage 2 cam profile tailored for the Auto transmission..... Green Machine was the first car that we tried it in & we will get him back to dyno it with posted results, idle smoother & the torqure starts earlier compared to the earlier stage 2 which definatly suits the manual set ups....

thanks

Joe

wow even earlier torque? thats amazing. correct me if Im wrong, but on a standard timing setup didnt the stage 2 pull from about 2200 anyway? will this auto cam that comes on earlier still pull hard to the redline like the previous stage 2?

good work out there joe, wish your shop was in melbourne and JMM was in sydney :)

Well from Troys experiance with both cams his first impression was that the new one pulled harder earlier as when he tested it against a middly worked 5.0ltr dunnydoor on Friday night......

Hmmm, so this particular cam is a 5.0l cam? not a 6 cylinder cam? just checking

I'll guess that for now because it is in the 6 cylinder section

well had it dynoed today at CMS by joe. and it made 143rwkw and the torque well i cracked 408rwnm and 415 peek that was a 40rwnm gain over the stg2, the power and torque comes in real hard at mid to top end over the stg2 i had my two read outs side by side and the new cam kills it.

i did manage to destroy my rear outer housing on the auto due to a warp tail shaft but we got that all fixed up thanks to the guys there today. will post up the dyno sheet soon.
