Just a quick question I know the mount for the coil pack varies between AU1 and AU2 but can you interchange the coil pack from an AU2 into an AU1? will the loom plug still fit?

Plugs are wired up different but it can be done.....

Just as easy to get the right one tho.

I swapped my au2 motor with an au1 the wiring still seems the same except the t - map sensor however i have the au 2 coil pack and was going to fit it to my mother in laws au1

Also the mount holes are different detween the AU1 and AUII/III. As AU99 said, just buy the right one, they are only around the $100.00 mark. Cheaper if you shop around.

no worries thanks glad i didn't travel the 150km to fit this one only to find out it is different lol starting to get my head around the differences between the 3 au series.

EF and AU1 are the same from memory, and AUII onwards are different??
