hi guys i own an ED falcon and am looking to upgrade the air intake any ideas or pics on how i should do this would be greatly apreciated, i have looked at sites like ss inductions and k&n and it doesnt seem like they make a cold air induction kit for the ED and the factory intake is far to restrictive.

a fairly cheap and easy solution may be to fit an intake snorkel off an XH... readily available from wreckers and far less restrictive

hi, welcome to fordmods,

as above the xh ute snorkle is almost twice as big as the stock ed one, make sure u fit a ea rubber pipe too that goes from the throttle body to airbox as that is the other restriction in ed's

ok awsome so putting the xh snorkle and the EA rubber pipe on it with a K&N panel filter will that make it breath better than haveing a pod filter on it

the XH snorkle will connect up to the top engine side of the air box.IMO the xh snorkle and k&n panel filter comes pretty close to a pod filter
