If you have an AU get the Acron Plastics Custom Box - they even have them for the BA & Eseries
AU ones on AFF here:- http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11242900 AU one Looks like this:- I fitted one to my EF with the SS Big Mouth - untuned I have picked up 3.5rwkw but a massive amount of torque between 2,000 and 3,000rpm - the tune I have is based on the STD Set Up - BUT i have sweet F All area for Air to come in from behind the headlight - AU & BA are more open so they will pick up more air and if you have an XR you have a direct air hole to the front

nice mate - thanks soo much!! damn that is huge!! i see what u mean by it covering the back of the headlight - wud make it impossible to replace the bulb without ripping it out. I noticed the old intake scoop is still there - is it funtional still/needed? It looks like there is a spot for it to connect in

to take it out is easy as 1-2 mins max . undo the the clamps x3 that hold top to the bottom then undo the 2x screws that you can see on the top and it just pulls out so you can replace the globe
or you could undo the 3x clamps and take the filter out and put you hand down into the globe through the housing you reuse the old intake snorkal to give you even more air, they give you strip of foam that you put around the end of the snorkal that fits into the growler so it fits better and the then also give you a deflection bit of alloy which you fit to the front so it directs more air into the snorkal see pics foam around the snorkal end nothe right you can see the alloy deflector through the grill |
