Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what and where I could get a cold air intake system installed and what would be the best type?

I assume for the BA? There is a SS induction system, maybe look at some builds in the garage to see what other BA's have done !

wouldnt even bother with a ss induction system, waste of time or money, either put a good panal filter, like a k and n filter in the standerd air box, or get a stainless 3 inch cold air intake made up to go into your air box sealed up,
this is mine atm no heat shield no more, had to give it back but im getting some made up

On a BA XL id be using a BA/BF XR6T snorkel, they are a fair bit larger than stock BA items and will get a bit more flow into the airbox.
Id also find and fit a F6 Typhoon secondary intake snorkel which takes in air from behind the headlight, seems to be a very popular intake mod amongst the b-series guys. Will require you to mod the front of the lower part of the aibox to fit but thats no biggie. You could however make up a DIY secondary intake similar to the typhoon one, from memory, FordFreak EF made one up using 2 EA Falcon CFI intake tubes - worked to the same affect for a fraction of the cost. |
