i have a eb fairmont wont start dont know what to do ihave changed
the smart lock module and key barrell all realys bashed the s**t out of the dash nothing is happing i have power to injectors none to pump or starter please help im at a loss |

What yo need to do is keep replacing random parts until it works.
Or you could get someone that knows what they are doing to look at the car and diagnose the problem and just replace that one part that is broken. |

Have you even checked the fusable links under the bonnet down the drivers side? Or fuses under the dash board?

yea checked all of that 3 times was reading the manual and it said something bout tfi on the dizzy whan i checked that it had .67ohms the book said .5max
could it be that ? would it stop the fuel pump but? |

If the fuel pump ain't workin it's either the ECU relay or the fuel pump relay. Both are under the overflow bottle under the bonnet

Have you done the correct smartlock learn procedure with the new barrel and smartlock module, ie; leaving the ignition on for 30 minutes?

Gab When you replace the smart lock you should leave your ignition on and walk away from the car and some where up to two hours it will lock your car and then unlock it which you should hear and see when the locks go down and then up and all should be good to restart, I had a similar problem replaced everything only to find out in the end it was my computer down in the kick panel on the passenger's side of the car? cheers Alan |
