well you'd have to be the first person in the history of fordmods to convert a 4.0L falcon from manual to auto, its unheard of!

if it hasnt been an auto before, i'd think it will be harder to change than auto->manual. Im not sure but you may have to run cooling lines for the auto. Things you will need:

gbox obviously
auto ECU
auto loom
flex plate
torque convertor
shifter and shifter surround
auto crossmembers

if you wanted to you could leave the manual pedal box in there and just leave the clutch cable tied up?

thats all i can think of

mate, while the rest of us would love to do the auto to manual, you're looking to do the opposite, question is, WHY!?!?
Manual is so much more fun, I have the BA sequential shift, and while its sort of like manual, I would much prefer the manual, way more fun to drive and you get a much better feel of and more control of the car.
Leave the manual in for sure!!

buy a auto falcon would be alot easyer as converting to manual u hyst dont use half the lume anymore but a manual wouldnt have them there so it would be alot of work so i would leave the manual there

Having a daily driver as a manual is fun, but is also a big pain in the a***.
