Sorry if this question has been asked, didnt have much time to read as im still at work.
Just wanted to find out if anyone knows about changing to a manual gear box on an fg.

The 6 speed auto goes alright .... But it's just not as fun, and it's frustrating when ya want a bit of fun! ;)

Alternativley, anyone with a manual, would you recommend the manual?

Any info is appriciated !

Cheers,

Alan

Matey, I am sure you would have to buy the parts you need NEW. Just a few prices to give you an idea.

ECU BG 12A650 G $442.00
Clutch pedal BA 7519 A $223.00
Pedal Bracket BG 2455 C $315.00
Clutch M/Cyl BA 7A543 A $763.00
Slave Cylinder BA2 7A508 A $940.50

Like Frank said, you would be better off buying a Manual.

Hi all,

I'm new here and was looking at fitting a 6 speed auto box to my BF XR6 Turbo to replace the 6 speed manual.....

Big Al, if you're in Victoria, maybe we could do a deal......you could have all the manual components and vice versa...if they are compatible between the 2 models. Just an idea!!
