Hi guys, I am about to flush out my coolant in my ef and my gf's mum's el falcon, and I was wondering what the correct way to go about it, thinking it goes like this,

please note I am going to be using Nulon products!

Get some Nulon R40 Radiator Coolant Flush, turn heater on, run for 20mins idle, let cool.
Drain coolant, refill with fresh tap water and rerun flushing again for another 20mins, let cool once again and drain.
Fill with Nulon Concentrated 5ltr Coolant bottle and then add two 5ltr bottles of Demineralised Water.

that should be 33% coolant and 66% Demineralised Water yes? and should flush the system out good enough.

Let me know if this is a good way of flushing the cooling systems in these cars.

Thanks!, forgive me if this has been posted 1million times.

There are 8 welsh plugs all up, all 40mm. 5 on the exhaust side of the block, 2 on the inlet side, and 1 at the rear. To do them is a major job....especially the rear, as this requires the removal of the transmission.
You are better off driving the car for 20 mins, than idling for 20 mins while the flush is in.
You need to flush with water before puting in the flush anyway.
