How many coolants hoses are there on an AU Fairmont?

To my knowledge there is the upper radiator hose, the lower radiator hose, and the two smaller hoses which come from the coolant tank. So that makes 4.

Are there any other coolant hoses?

I'm thinking of changing the whole set of coolant hoses and the next step would be to find out what brand of hose is recommended. any ideas would be great thanks

There's 2 that go to the heater, and a bypass hose under the inlet manifold, and 1 that goes from under the expansion tank to the radiator.

Well, for the Rad top and bottom hose, after market should be ok but the rest you might have to go genuine. I truly don't know if anyone else does the rest of them except maybe the bypass hoses.
The expensive Heater hose you will have to get genuine as it has a fitting on one end.
Mackay hoses are ok as they are generally the OEM anyway and I guess dunlop are ok too.

One thing, get concentrated coolant, don't buy that cheap stuff from anyone as it is mostly water you are bringing home. :)
Green stuff is what you want, you can buy it genuine but a tad more expensive. I don't have the cost for it but the number is R1 33 for the 5ltr and R1 32 for the 1ltr.

A mob called "Mackay", made the OEM hoses, and are available. Repco tend to sell Gates or their own brand. Supercheap sell Mackay.
