hey guys

im still sorting out the cars probs before i start working on it. at the moment its leaking coolant when ever i take her out for a spin.

just wondering how strong the spring is on the resevior tank cap is? i can push it in easily.

theres no stains coming from anywhere on the block, and the exhaust doesnt smell weird, yet its dripping off my frame underneath the engine, but i cant trace it back to it source.

any ideas??? really starting to shyte me. car is going back in to the radiator place on friday for a follow up flush and is getting a full check then, but just want to know what u guys think.

it could be your radiator cap have u checked the water pump o.ring because they leak all the time

check the overflow pipe to see if it's wet,,if not check the radiator hoses,then the heater pipe going around the engine.

When my falcon was loosing coolant, it turned out to be the heater tap. They are half plastic and half metal, and they always seem to corrode, might be worth checking that.

if its not something obvious like a hose, check the heater tap, or the water pump

heater tap is located under the inlet manifold, sorta half way between the dizzy and the firewall, youo can see if easy from underneath.

the water pump is where the clutch fan bolts on, they are pretty common to leak.

well its all sorted out now. there was a small split right under the power steering pump. got a $25 hose, flushed and refilled it and its all running sweet.
