Cheers, Peter uhh is it just me or does that hose looks like its got a hole in it? yeh I see what you mean, on the front edge in from the clamp...I reckon a new hose is a good idea... just as the hose moves over the water pump thats why it would be leaking under running pressure just expands the hose a bit a bam water haha ive just spent 2 months re-buildin my eb and forgot about me gas converter leaking water!! |

Thanks to everyone who responded.
Hmmm, I never have thought of that hose having a hole in it, all things are possible, I've purchased a new one today so will be replacing it Thursday. This will be second job...First job is to replace the HP hose to the power steering unit. Might run some permatex around the end of hose going onto waterpump pick up pipe just in case. Cheers, |

Cheers, i dont use and sealant or anything on hoses just clamps if u need to use it i'd me lookin at complaining to the maufacturer bud i just replace all my hoses and had a leak from anything besides my converter which i just finished putting a new kit through it can run it cos my battery is f**k now another thing to add to my list

to me as the others have said the hose looks abit sus, and i have had hoses in the past that have fractured on the inside and weeped between the rubber and followed the thread to the end and dripped

Thanks, seems it might be,
Will be replacing the hose when doing my coil springs, shockies and hubs. Will let you know when I take the hose off as to its condition. Cheers, Peter |
