it really depends on how much coolant is leaking. if its pissin out i wuld say no because as you drive the car the system pressurises and you will lose more. if its a small leak you ca drive it but keep an eye out on the temp gauge if it sky rockets and the coolant sensor light as well. Check the hoses upper, lower, heater and small one to the thermostat housing for the leak. howevere keep some water in your car with you.

If you dont hve a low coolant sensor, then id say no. It takes only a matter of minutes to lose a few litres of water. Been there, done that, fried head to prove it If you do have a low coolant sensor, then it should be fine, but if it comes on, top it up with water. And dont expect to get far before the hose goes really badly. Only have to fix it once, so id suggest straight away

i have just checked where the coolent is leaking and its from the bottom left side of the engine bay, checked most hoses they and no problems there i found what its leaking from bairut is unsure of what it is, it almost looks like a pump(will take pics 2moro), is it possible to be from the aircon?

bottom left - if its near the fire wall it'll most prob be the heater tap or if its coming out of the fire wall its a drain with condensation from the air cond and nothing to worry about cause its normal

Don't mean to sound smart, but if you gave it a bit of a beating, could it possibly be the overflow hose from the header tank? |
