My Car 1997 EL Falcon
always had a problem with the temp gauge now that it has a different Engine from a 1998 el falcon it was doing the same thing them gauge wouldnt stay in one place and when you where on the freeway it would still move up and down

i made 2 tools that fixed my cooling system today i was driving down the freeway and it wouldnt move off the line under the L that was with the air con ON then i turned off the aircon and cranked the heater it went even lower and stayed there

theses are the 2 tools are made using a 3 way hose peice with the change able t-peice so i could connect up the hose from the watertap and blast water through my engine using a 3 cylinder Aircompressor and the radiator cap so i could blast air through the system so i could get all the water and junk outta the system

It fricken worked so if anyone is in perth with the same problem that i had let us know and ill help them out

cheers
Danny

Pic Should be working

That's clever, I can see how the cap works but with the Y piece, what's with the bolt?
If the hose connects to one end and you've got air going in the second to boost it, how do you get the water into the engine? What am I missing? LOL

where the bolt is there is a connecter that screws in the place that is a short lenth of the hose from the air compressor that has 2 Female ends which one connects to the Watertap hose the other to the Air compressor and the other to the radiator cap quite simple really
