This is somethin' thats been bothering me for a while, can get teh beast to arch up round corners, off the line ect, but i cant get it to do standstills.
Beings a manual EB XR6 would the best thing be puttin her to 4/5 grand and slowly lifting the clutch up (noticed a lot of slipage when trying this) or should i start at the friction point and start ripping into it? Or would it be best to heel and toe? being ABS i didn't think this was wise after seeing my mate burn both his front disc in a EF XR8, should i take the abs fuse out or is it a matter of clutch control? (It does burn outs, but the correct way to standstill in a manual LSD ford should reduce the damage factor)

Watch Pizza bro, they'll teach you how to do sik skidz uleh.
On a more serious note, dont do it where others can see you, you simply give all Ford owners the same image that muzza's in VN's already have. Hold the revs to 3500 or 4000-ish, heel and toe, bring the clutch up to friction point and then release it rather quickly. You will warm your rear discs up a fair bit but unless you get a hose clamp for the rears, there's nothing much you can do about it. |

just a quick rev to around 4000rpm and drop the clutch...then foot to the floor on throttle and give it some brake. A stock XR should rip em nicely!

I've had no problems doing them in a manual with ABS as can be evidenced in THIS VID
Just rev it up, pretty much drop the clutch and then stand on the brake so you don't take off up the road.

like the others, i dont use heel-toe i reckon its crap. just rev it up to about 4 drop the clutch hard and hit the brake immediately! and it should spin easy.... yeh make sure ppl see ya so u can show em ford can do it to |

Oh and also dont do it while Cops are around as I did a couple of years ago. Except I was done by undercover Cops who ended up impounding my Falcon for 2 months after I did a Smoking 60 metre burnout in the main street of town just after a VL Turbo had done a s**t one. Problem is they charged me with the wrong charge and I ended up getting it back after 2 months instead of 3 as the Court ruled that Cops had stuffed up and I was to be given my Falcon back immediately with no money to be owed to the Cops as they can also charge you fees for them impounding it which is like $700 and if you dont have the dosh you dont get the Car back until you do. So like I said in some States they can Immediately impound your Vehicle for certain amounts of time depending on the State laws, etc.
