G'Day all I live in Mandurah WA and was wondering how far I can mod my 2005 XR6T MkII before having to do major engine pull down mods to achieve the greatest amount of rear wheel Kw and how high can I expect to achieve and how much would I be looking at, any replys greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Milo Mann 8-)

P.S. Love my Fords

I think MKII's still get s**t valve springs, so high 200ish rwkw if you push it, but it varies, not all valve springs are created equal.

I would do...
Intercooler
Piping
Highflow Cat
Remove middle muffler
Injectors
Port wastegate, bigger flapper
12psi wastegate actuator
Fuel pump
Valvesprings
Custom tune.

Limit of your bottom end is lowish 300rwkw.

Power: 158 rwkw

a few of the boys at work have turbos!

one that comes to mind had the following

nizpro cooler
custom tune
modded cat
injectors
valve springs (ba motor)
typhoon 2nd intake
fuel pump

298rwkw on nizpro's dyno!

as steady ed said 300ish is bout ya bottom end is good for! Any more than that and ya asking for trouble!

one of the boys at work learnt the hard way! asked too much and ended up lunching his block!

I've pretty much did what Jared said, except I have a 2x2.5" exhuast.

But a run down of what I've done:
Plazmaman STG 1 intercooler
Process West "Under Battery Pipe"
Highflow cat
X-Force 2x2.5" exhaust
Siemans 660cc injectors
Port wastegate, bigger flapper
12psi wastegate actuator
Walbro gss-341 intank fuel pump
Nizpro valve springs
Custom tune by HeadSex

So far I've got 287kW @ the wheels. once I get above 300kW I'll be happy!

Yeah 320 - 330rwkW seems to be the limit of a stock BA turbo motor, but F6 and BFII (same thing) bottom ends you can push out to 400rwkW!!
