I think my car revs out to 100-110 in my 5 speed, with a 3.23 diff. Of course I know this from my spouts on the 1/8th mile, cus I'm just hitting 3rd before the line.

if there was any damage, you've would of known. some weird noise here & there.

what worries me is someone who is drifting out on a public road is actually looking at the speedo instead of full concerntration on the road and that making sure he doesn't hit anything (specially when in someone elses car)!

I reckon. If someone did that in my car they'd be getting smacked over rather quickly.

Rule no.1 Dont lend ya car to anyone
Rule no.2 Especially don't lend ya car to little brother
Rule no.3 if you do lend it out and they come back braggin kick him in the nut's
and yes it is possable to do what he said but i bet 100 was his exiting speed not entry speed ,must have been bouncing on limiter and 1 more thing give him a bill for 2 new rear tires bet he wont do it again

Don't worry about what he said he only did a lame 35% power slide and only went to 70km on speedo. How i know this Every young hoon say they did something and 99% of the time it wasen't half as crazy as they said to be and cause i use to do it
It makes it sound more cool and they can't judge the angle like that while doing power slides

Don't worry about the car like some one else said good thrashing wakes the motor back up if it hasen't been thrashed in a while

Ow also take $50 off him it should make up for what he used on the tyres (some money to next set lol)

you must have a 3.23 diff. 3.45 hits 100 JUST before the limiter... about 101 it cuts out :p

i have a standard diff (dont know what it is) but i was under the impression (from previous posts) that an EB II doesnt have a speed limiter.

sorry, my typo. i did mean rev limiter.

i made a topic about a month ago, when 'I' was the one being the d**k head and showing off to my mates and reved my car (on the spot, no burn outs or anything) and it made a funy noise, almost like a blowoff valve, asked my mechainc and he said it was the rev limiter, next day i posted on here just so evreyone could laugh at my stupidity (as i was very worried i blew something until visiting the mechinc) and all told me eb's dont have a rev limiter.
