hi guys, I have a 3.9 cpi, can someone please tell me why there is a fat hose that runs from the air cleaner, over the rocker cover to the exhaust manifold. What would happen if i took it off and block the air cleaner :?: It looks like a waste of air flow (induction) to me. Thanks for the info. :)

That hose is for warm air induction during cold startups, there should be a gate in the air cleaner that switches from this when the engine is warmed up.

You can live without it, supposably it would just take longer to warm up.
