Hi Guys,

I need a little help.

After taking the head of my ED yesterday, i have discovered there are two cracks in the head. Ill send it away tomorrow to hopefully get fixed, but until then i want to try and get the water/moisture and rust thats starting to build up in the bottom end. Question is, is this 'fixable'? is this water/rust a major problem, will it cause issues later on? And what is the best way to flush all this s**t out?

Cheers

Where about on the bottom end is it? If it's through the coolant channels then you can get all sorts of flushes for that (try your local Repco, Supercheap, auto1, etc), if it's built up on your pistons then I'd probably clean that up while the head is off, but be careful not to score anything or you'll see more problems.

Cheers,
