hey ppl, so my fairlane has deff seen better days, has started a lil leak coming from the head so sooner or later it'll be running alot rougher, and will be time to give it a tweak

thinking of doing tickford head with new valves and springs fresh rocker gear and a 977b wade cam, 4480 extractors and maybe a j3 and dyno tune
what kind of $$ would i be lookin at here?
if i had the money would love to bolt a turbo on :) how often do u see a fairlane with boostt??

help would be much appreciated
thanks

everyone(most peopel) use a fairlane as a cruiser car. where as some one like you or me who use it every day, wish to do this. there is a NCII fairlane on street fords forum that has just about finished a turbo set up. i was thinking about going supercharged because it eliminates the lag a turbo gives.

cheers kole

other wise, get a crashed BA/BF XR6/T and do a conversion. i have seen it successfully done, and ive only done the engineering of parts and installation of the engine for it, but im no auto sparky. other than that just call JMM (Jim Mock Motorsport) and get a DEV5 SS engine. not to sure if its a complete engine or weather its a rebuild kit.

strongest engine that JMM build (that i know of) and easy to turbo with little stuff needed. all the rocker/cam gear and bottom end are really good. i have mate with a '92 EB runs a turbo at 15psi and its a weapon. i dont know how much his set up cost tho.
