A quality pod filter generally does suffice.

These Taiwanese exports don't do justice, In fact, neither operate any better in a falcon 6.

Someone posted a URL of flow tests done on a bunch of pod filters. The most expensive were not the best flowing, very mixed results, extremely suprising.
But from personal experience, I found a TFI Racing pod filter to be restrictive to the falcons air intake.

Ohh yeh, I forgot, some of these filters don't actually "filter" but ..... Flow great surprisingly.

i saw a performance comparison on pod filters K&N scored in the mid range. best being no filter at all but some cheap filters will breath in fine dust and score well, so its hard to compare.

when doing cfm testing they should also test to see if the filter is doing the job of filtering like its ment to cos inductive dust will add wear to the engine.

cold air will mean denser air so basicly there is more oxygen for the fuel to burn up. many tests ive seen dont test that the filter does its job so cheaper imports usually win over quality products. :(

i decided to buy a K&N pod, but i reckon they are over priced for what they are. a plus is they can be cleaned and reused. sometimes you do get what you pay for. not allways

all the cheap filters that might flow well will filter like s**t.

honestly, stop screwing around with stuff that makes 2/10th's of f**k difference and look bigger.

Regardless how much the gain is, if it isnt filtering much, it aint worth it!
