Hi guys i took my crow cam out of my old motor and put it in my new one just need a bit of help dialing it in. I have looked at the topics on here and I have brought a dialer the only thing i am stuck with is the specs on the cam. I have download the spec list but can anyone tell me what the dialer should read at TDC or shed a bit more light on it for me. Thanks

Gday sloxr6,

I have a full race cam for mine el from crow don't think they sell it no more :(. I'm not sure wat exactly your came should b set too but mine was set to 0 degrees. You measure off the top of the inlet rocker (number 1 i think). When it hits top at tdc u want it to be 0 degrees on your balancer, adjust the cam gear acordingly.
I had issues to start it as well and my timing i had to run it at about 35 degrees advance. Ran sweet as a p***y cat. The cam was rated to kick in at 3200 rpm i think and it was dead on the money, and came on real strong.
Also every time u alter the cam gear u should check your timing.
Hope u get it going and hope this helps.

35 or 3.5 advance? If 35 how? The vernier gears only go to 10 degrees. Or have you skipped some teeth?
