Wife Adjusted cruise control at 100 (bumping the + a couple of times to get too 110) and the car accellerated fast for a few seconds and then the ignition shut down(tacho drop too zero) then restarted as it was coasting along and all was good for the next 3hrs.

any idea's.

A bad TFI module does things like that, might be worth a check.
