hey all
i just returned from a 2500k trip from SA to VIC and returned while on this trip my car has picked up an unusual thing, before i start ripping things apart id like to find out if its an easy fix mostly happens around the 60 kph mark but has been known to do it at most speeds matching the 1200 rpm makr, on a flat road or slightly inclined the car will hold speed with out the throttle applied, it will drive up an incline ( like a tiny hill ) and back to flat without touching the accelerator and hold roughly the same speed holding around the 1200 rpm mark while stopped in neutral it will drop rpm back down to 700 ish in drive it will drop rpm to 550 ish and then when you come to a stop and hold the brake on the car feels like it wants to pull away / stalling up the converter, vibrates the whole car possibly two different issues here auto gets serviced regularly but on this trip i just clocked the 200,000k mark the car is an Auto 2003 BA XR6 Turbo

Usually i'd say throttle cable but as your BA is fly by wire i have no idea. Throttle body could be gunked up and holding open more than usual.

+1 for cleaning out your TB. Don't know much about the BA intake, but if the oil vapour return is positioned like similar to the E series, it's probably fairly gummy in there
