I've heard of them as well, Got a qoute for my wifes EF for $280.00 cat back If I install.
Its made in NZ but branded here as exhaust systems australia. lukey & redback sound like s**t compare to them. Any thing out of NZ is top quality staff.

Only thing you need to ask is whether the muffler is a straight through.
No use f**k around with baffled or staggered s**t.
If it's straight through, with 2.5" internals, it'll flow :D

Murphy's from New Zealand... :x

I heard he won bathurst 5 times, didn't he?.

No, they're like pacemaker for exhuast. flows better then any straight throu with 2.5".

If I had the money, I'll order me a set of BigBore exhuast.

My point exactly :D

Bathurst? I don't know what you're talking about Slick.

I'm happy with my Redback in the Sprint. 2.5", single muffler.
Nice and rumbly, but not at all droney at freeway speeds, and really opens up under revs.

what the hell are u nuts on about im lost lol what is this company u got the quote from, i mean think about it if they are using the same metal to make the muffler as lucky or redback then whats the difrence, u wont get any more power but it might last u a extra 6 mounths.

i say save the extra cash and get a k and n filter.

They're talking about different designs in mufflers.

Baffled mufflers shut the exhaust up, but restrict it. It's like having a 3" mandrel bent intake system, but putting a 1" restrictor inside the pipe.

Looks good on the outside. Yes they're used 3" pipe, but it's going to restrict the intake more than helps it.

You could have a 4" system, but put a s**t muffler on it and it might not even be as good as stock.

they use 3mm mild steel. thickness will rid of droning & vibration problems. when it vibrates, exhuast gas makes its way back upwards in side the walls of the thinner pipes causing back pressure as well :P
lukey/redback 1.8mm :?

I got a qoute for $280 EF cat-back bolt on system if I install. sounds a bit steep, what a you paying for, $1000 buck extractor? are they stainless?

Its up to you, but I reckon once people start hearing about Exhaust systems australia {NZ made}, it'll be the next in thing.

I personally would get the exhaust shop to install the extractors & cat to the original length then order a Big bore catback exhaust instead from NZ $580 to $700 and bolt it on my self.

persoanlly I wouldn't touch it.
There's a reason why Lukey have been around for so long...
And the word 'custom' with exhaust places seems to usually refer to press bending, which is inferior to the mandrell bends of Lukey and RedBack.
If you have ever looked into a Lukey Race Muffler or even there Ultraflow Mufflers (all of which are straight through design) you'll see that it'd be pretty much impossiable to get any less restrictive! You can see straight to the other side, there's nothing bloking your site at all.

ok now im so bloody confused its not funny

Ok my motor is a stage 5 motor from ITS Performance (thanks again mark) and its time for the exhaust and extractors. now im putting the no comp pacies as the comps wont fit there with the lpg converter so thats ok but as far as exhaust goes im lost. What would be the best exhaust for that motor and extractors as money is no issue on my baby :D

Cheers
