the factory radiator overflow tanks have the baffles inside them to eleviate the pressure internally.

im going to manufacture a overflow tank (in aluminium) for the EF.

im just wondering if i should bother attempting to do baffle-ing inside it.

also
- what wall thickness should i use?
- what stores should i approach for the cap fitting and the radiator hose fitting?

Pwr not only already have them but I bet if you asked nicely when ordering they'd also move their logo to the underside.

They also sell various billet barbs and I think they also sell the rad cap fittings if you're that determined to do it.

im in their area today, i might pop in a see if they do have the fittings i need.
providing they are open today (being a public holiday)

im thinking of making it in a cylinder shape, using thicker (than standard 1.6mm) wall aluminium piping. and welding the end plates on.
almost catch can style.

solely because i have a lack of room around the coolant bottle, and it would allow my intake to be modified

prety sure pwr sell the fittings your after but with the filler neck on the overflow tank if you get it from pwr you will need to use a stant radiator cap instead of the normal one, stant cap was arround the $50 mark from memory
