Ok guys got an unusual thing happening.
My car is starting on 4 or 5 cylinders in the morning but then after it warms up 10mins or so it drives with six beautifully. This happens every single morning and then drives fine throughout the day until the next morning. (it seems that something expands in the heat of the engine and makes a connection but then the next morning car is cold and stutters on 4 or 5 cylinder until it warms up) So I took my car to the RAC and they've had the car for 4 days now and still cant figure out the problem. The list of things they have done are. -Changed the throttle body and sensor as my computer had many error codes (error codes are now cleared) -Replaced all the spark plugs (NGK iridium) -all coil packs have great spark -checked the cam timing (good) -checked gasket for leak (all good) Any Ideas? Even there FORD tech is stumped, they said they've tried to call FORD about the problem as well.

Have you checked compression on each pot?
Could be headgasket leak and water getting into the cylinder and when it startes the water is pushed out the exhaust. |

We have a BA turbo in ATM with the same issues.
We have sent the ECM away for testing. When cold there is no injector pulse at cyl 5 and as the vehicle warms up the injector begins o get signal slowly untill it is at temp and has full pulse signal. Thinking a dry/broken/weak solder join in the computer itself. Will report back when we know. |

Surly they have checked for injector pulse tho.... Right? Hopefully. Pretty obvious if it isn't spark related to go there
