Start the car then disconnect the nigative side of the battery. See if it runs off the alternator. could be the altanator not giving out enough volts to charge the battery and on short runs it is killing the battery. If it runs of the altanator for a few minutes then all good, may be a cell in the battery dieing.

look at the voltmeter on the dash - with no load, the gauge is showing 10V. as soon as you give that the load of trying to start the motor, it's gonna drop down to nothin.

Should show a MINIMUM of 12 volts when ignition turned on or battery is in need of charging as alternator will NOT charge a flat battery ONLY keep a fully charged battery charged  :D

my brother had his interior light staying on all the time until he realised he'd bumped the dimmer switch that runs beside the headlight switch. maybe you have made the same mistake. if it is all the way up the interior lights stay on.

also is your battery serviceable or not(does it have caps on top). if so have you checked level of water. may need a top up otherwise it won't charge.
