Hello there

Almost finished putting my motor together for the big swap this week (about time!) and I have found that the belt supplyed with my dayco XH tensioner is not the correct size! (part number 20-7856) It is about 1cm to short :|
I tried an EF belt but that was just, just too short.
But after I fitted the AU tensioner back on the belt fits but rubs on the tensioner, so to avoid having to f**k with the A/C bracket again I wanted to know if the AU belts are any longer? The XH tensioner is brand new and I'd like to use it if i can (it was f**k expensive!)

Would anyone have an AU belt they could mesure for me?

Cheers!

XH had their own belt size...not EF/EL...not AU..AU VCT.....
The XH had their own tensioner too...has a bent arm...the A/C compressor was mounted like an EA to ED.

EF/EL belts are around 2370mm, XH is around 2405mm, AU's about 10-15mm longer than XH from memory.

Got an AU belt today, it is infact shorter than the XH belt?

Perhaps a VCT belt would be better?
