About a month and a half ago i had a custom 2.5" cat back put on my car and i thought it sounded great at the start because i have never had the exhaust done on a car before but now it sounds s**t up high.and is also a bit too loud.not even near legal. Anyone got any info about the de filippo exhaust's.My car has a tough idle and good till bout 2500rpm - nearly 3000rpm but then it sounds a bit tinny.

Franks on the money. I've got a defillipo exhaust on my Turbo and it sounds great. I have heard a couple of stories about these exhausts having problems tho (but you can say that about just about anything)

Get some extractors i'd say :\ Make it sound beefier..
Only other thing i can think of is add another muffler.

Put on some pacemaker 4480's..... im running them 3" everything cat straight through muffler... and it has a lumpy idle and around 2200 its lumpiest then at 3000+ its Deep and loud lol very loud :P

But its FAR from tinny.. I think headers will fix ur problem.
