Manley do a 3.700inch (93.98mm) flat top piston for the modular V8 with a 1.220 (30.988mm)comp hight.

thats a 1.73mm oversize in a 4l OHC engine. and the comp hight is within 0.1mm, you would need to use an aftermarket BA rod to make it fit. (spool do I-beam rods that would work well in an N/A engine as it's over 100grams lighter then the spool H-beam.)

Not to be rude here, but you should know what i'm talking about if you are thinking of going for alot of N/A power.


what i'm saying is that it is alomst a perfect for hight when used with a BA rod and it will be 1.73mm bigger than a stock piston. (it would take the capacity out to 4.134L)

as above with pre AU gasket comp ratio = 10.58:1

engine capacity =4.134L / 252.24cui
bore/stroke: 0.946
stroke/rod: 1.550 (6.060inch Spool BA/BF rod)
