New seals and bearings. It maybe easier and cheaper to fit a whole diff thats in good condition??

Are you sure it's not oil from the engine/transmission showing up on the diff?

Sounds like the inspection cover leak?
You may be lucky and a careful bolt torque may stop it, or maybe you need a new gasket.

id start with a pic maybe then give it a real good degrease, clean down and check the levels. drive it for a while and see what happens. you should get a better idea if and where it is leaking from when it is all nice and clean
