sorry to be such a dumd a** but . can someone post pictures or link to pictures or description of the different manifolds . some are saying they have ed configuration others have BBM . As I own an XH (XR6 08/96 manufacture) I get a bit confused over what the equivalent sedan models is( EF I guess) :oops:

Ditto that.

XH XR6 uses the BBM equipped XR6 motor.

Std XH Longreaches use the ED style manifold. According to my Gregories manual, the XH Longreach has less power but more torque than the BBM equipped EF/EL's.

XH XR6:
162kw/363nm

XH:
148kw/357nm

EL XR6:
164kw/366nm

EL:
157kw/355nm

The EL 4.0 had 367nm of torque too.

The info that I posted above came from my Gregory's manual.

367nm is more than it lists for the EL XR6.

Hornet: on a side note. I notice your 1/8th time. For my EL my half track (1/8th) time is 10.63 @ 110.22kph. Full track is 16.29 @ 140kph(87mph).
The dragster is somewhat better, of course. 1/8th is 6.7 @ 170.13kph. 1/4 is 10.45 @ 212.06kph (131.77mph).
