I would say that most people would think that EA-EB1 were all rubbish and that EB2 onwards were the better car, 4litre is the thing that's better, and they look better! EB2 looks the same as EB1 in the front. EB2 has more colour coded crap and better door handles and has more badges on the front guards.

the only differrence in the front ends was the ea has the ford badge on the bonnet, the eb has it on the grill, door handles don't make a car look better, they open the door,so why is it so much better.

people must realise that if it wasn't for the ea you would not have all the other e series with there oh so great refinement,my ea ghia's interior is better than my bro in-laws ef.plus my ea looks better than his ef any day, more character.

and through this forum i have seen so many owners of the "modern" e series cars that have exactly the same problems as the ea's {head gaskets for one}and more electrical failures than cityrail.

end rant for now.

The handles are glossy not chalky looking, EB2 Full leather are the best seats ever, many will agree.

I'm talking about front end, as in steering and suspension, not front panels!
Stick your head under an EA, then look at an EB2.
That was one of their upgrades they advertised at the time it was released.

i do like the leather, and glossy handles, yeah they really make the car better,as i said cosmetic.

cosmetics don't make a car more reliable.

you could buy the best looking car you can find and have nothing but trouble, then you could buy the scruffiest looking thing and have no problems at all..

I think it was the K frame and lower arms.
Looking at the K frames from my EF compared to my DA, the DA looks piss weak.

I can't remember the last time i looked at an EB 2, but i remember at the time that it had a revised front end when it came out.

LOL, they were known as a lemon when they first came out Max, surely you remember that?
But like any new model, once they sorted out all the s**t problems they turned out to be a good car.

Yeah, its called an EB haha
