Hi all just wondering if there are any differences perfomance wise etc on the xr6 over the standard ef I may have over looked. Is the inlet manifold or anything different?

Just I have 2 ef xr6's I am wrecking and I have picked up a standard ef I am keeping and am doing a bit of work to. I am just looking into what is different and worth taking, I know the head, fuel rail, injectors, reg etc. I already have tickford man conversion, ecu, xr6 intake mouth and 3:45 diff, what else is worth taking?

Cheers

Cam and exhaust were different im pretty sure . . .

I know the cam is definatly different. Might give the standard ef a bit more poke if you don't already have a after market one in . . .

Yeah I know cam etc is different, when I said I meant head is different, i meant head as in head with all running gear etc. And yeah springs are different etc, but I already have all after market, including sway bars and all that jazz, was mostly looking to see if there was any difference in anything silly like the inlet manifold etc but I am pretty sure its all the same, just seeing if people had any idea if there were any other differences.

Cheers

Yeh i thought the tailshaft was different also, for that speed

It should have an alloy drive shaft.

Biggest performance differences were, suspension, cam, head, exhaust, different tune and 3.45:1 final drive.

I think they are actually 3 mm different, 41mm instead of the stock 39mm?

something like that, any bigger it goes backwards in performance------only small low cost improvements for the T badge.
