hey i was wondering if any1 can help with this, after time n time again of paying for services i decided 2 just do it myself, only problem is i went 2 check the autos fluid level n cant not for the life of me find the dip stick, checked on the ef and its where i thought there but cant even find a pipe where the dip stickshould be... this is just a slight problem if any1 has a answer can they plz let me know asap... cheers

more than i fair chance it doesnt have a dipstick
it will have a plug on the R/H back corner of the auto
thats where you fill it from

Oil level should be up to the fill plug with the vehicle on level ground.

apparently you can have a dipstick installed,,see an auto transmission place.

Apparently not that easy. The hole isn't there, it has to be drilled out. This requires a full strip down of the trans. Or replace the casing with a EF one like mine was.

It can be done in the car. I've done it a few times. It's not impossible to do, you just need a steady hand and a sharp drill bit.

So where does the swarf go? Can you garrantee that none ends up in the transmission.

you do it from the inside
take the transmission pan off and there is a blanked off hole in casting where a dipstick should go
its not impossible you just have to know what you are doing

yeah spoke 2 my cousin now here is what he has said falcons with autos after the ef no longer have a dip stick installed, nd as for the maunal its coming once i have my holiday and pay off the credit card
