ive got a 91 ea gl cfi which i have $7000 to spend on!its getting an eb 4lt a 5 speed,custom black interior,racing seats,steering wheel,gearknob,big a*** cam,valve springs,cam gear,chip torque chip,lowered,custom cold air intake and i have put in a 3.9:1 lsd.For the eng and gearbox i have brought a 215000km eb wagon(non smartlock) do i need to change the wiring loom from the ecu to engine bay for the multi point engine or are they same??
any help appreciated

Yes you will need a new loom, as a CFi has only 2 injectors and MPFI with six thus six connectors in loom for injectors. Also various sensors are in differant places, so current loom wont work/reach etc.

The MPFI 6 cyl engines may have 6 injectors but they're fired in two banks of three meaning you still only have two injector lines coming out of the ECU (Sequential injection wasn't used on sixes prior to the AU afaik). You shouldn't need to replace *all* the wiring between the ECU and the engine, only the parts around the manifold. Even though you're not converting a CFI to MPFI this tutorial may still be able to help you out:

thanks i knew the manifold loom is different but wasnt sure about the ecu to manifold loom.

ecu controls when the injectors are fired mpfi ecu will fire 3 at a time where a cfi ecu will only fire 1
